Registration for the 2018 Plymouth-La Rochelle Race is now open!

 

Every 2 years, this great race revived by Yacht Club Classique, brings together an exceptional fleet of classic yachts to race across the Channel and along the Atlantic coast of France. The first race in 2012 was a great success with 18 boats entered, and that success has continued with the 2014 and 2016 editions with 45 boats entered in the last race.

 

The start of the 4th edition will be on July 14, 2018 in Plymouth. One of the innovations for the 2018 race is the stopover which will be in Port Louis in the beautiful Rade de Lorient. Everything is planned to make this race unforgettable : an interesting offshore  course allowing multiple options, a festive time in Port Louis as part of the celebration of the 400 years of its foundation and, of course ... many social events.

• Final registration at Plymouth on July 13th

• Departure from PLYMOUTH on July 14th 

• Finish of the 1st leg in Port-Louis on July 16th

• Participation in the celebrations of 400 years of Port Louis on July 17th

• Start of the 2nd leg, July 18th

• Arrival in LA ROCHELLE, July 19th,

• Prizegiving ceremony on July 20th

 

The number of participants is limited to 40 boats, with priority being given to the first to pre-registered. Whether you are tempted to participate in the entire race or just one of the legs, please pre-register now, with no commitment.

If you are entering Dartmouth Classics Weekend on July 7 and 8 in Dartmouth, organized by the Royal Dart Yacht Club, you will be able to enter a feeder race or cruise in company from Dartmouth to Plymouth.
